Headed towards Spain finally, working up the coast slowly slowly. Already clocked up a cool 500 kilometers on trips around Marrakech and Essaouira. Generally took the bike on the bus, usually uphill, somewhere nice, stayed there a couple of days and then cycled back down to town. Been tempering the chaotic assault on the senses of the cities with waterfalls and walks through olive groves.

For anyone who might wish to join me (come on Joe!) I'll be in Casablanca, then Rabat in a week or so, then Fes mid Feb and probably hit Tangiers at the end of the month, the cycling around the Rif mountains on the Med looks amazing.
